More than one dozen patients have accepted a ‘Ride to Care’ since this innovative pilot program expanded to the SVFD service area in early August. Valley patients with less serious medical issues can choose a free ride to Spokane Urgent Care rather than the expense of an ambulance ride to the hospital.
